Opened in July 2008 by owner Susan Rowe, the lounge at 2601 S. Lemay Ave. in the Scotch Pines Village Shopping Center was recently recognized by Éminence Organic Skin Care as the most creative spa in Colorado for 2008-2009.
“It’s particularly amazing to receive such an award after just one year,” said Rowe. “Éminence gave us the award because they liked our unique concept and marketing methods. In effect, we provide posh without the price in a germ-free setting.”

SHE SHE’s nine-member dream team provides an extensive menu of affordable services for women and men, including nail therapy, waxing, massages, spray tans and skin care in a relaxed and entertaining setting.

The lounge’s “girly contemporary” style includes two banks of comfy chairs for nail therapy, private rooms for personal treatments and flat-screen televisions throughout to entertain clients during treatments.

SHE SHE also offers free party-planning services to create the ideal atmosphere for bridal, bachelorette, baby shower and other parties, including a complete pampering package for girls-night-out.

Rowe opened SHE SHE after 10 years as a licensed massage therapist, manicurist and aesthetician. Rather than creating just another chip off the old fingernail, Rowe decided there had to be a better way to “spoil people silly” in a fun yet economical format.

“Too many salons are owned by businesspeople with no technical background in the industry,” said Rowe. “It’s either quickie nail shops or day spas with dreamy music. I wanted to offer something in between where clients knew they wouldn’t come out looking like Spock from Star Trek.”
